The new furniture collection by Mercedes-Benz Style made its world debut during Milan’s “design week” with a special Fuorisalone event.

Spanish designer Maximo Riera has created a new series of furniture pieces, the Animal Chair collection. One particular piece, the Rhino chair, is very impressive. Riera creates chairs of mammals, reptiles, and sea life.

The contemporary Aspen sofa is a result of collaboration between two big names in the design industry, Cassina and Jean Marie Massaud. The Aspen sofas work well together as a long sleek single seating unit, or as individual chaise lounges. Cassina’s Aspen collection includes an end table suspended on a center cylinder that blends into the side of the sofa in a very smooth transition.
BoConcept 2011 Furniture and Accessories

BoConcept recently previewed its new line of furniture and accessories. New pieces include multifunctional sofas, modular wall systems, storage coffee tables and a large variety of colorful, pop art inspired accessories. The furnishings and objects work to fit a variety of functions, especially in bedrooms and office spaces.

Lounge Chair by Kyle Buckner

American designer Kyle Buckner’s recent “Lounge Chair” carved from layered pine curves gracefully from foot to head. Buckner will “design or build just about anything,” however in pieces like this chair he really finds a voice. The stain is red mahogany, the cushions (quite naturally) are leather.
