The new furniture collection by Mercedes-Benz Style made its world debut during Milan’s “design week” with a special Fuorisalone event.
Spanish designer Maximo Riera has created a new series of furniture pieces, the Animal Chair collection. One particular piece, the Rhino chair, is very impressive. Riera creates chairs of mammals, reptiles, and sea life.
With its clean lines, rigorous geometry, and soft, welcoming seat, Masai makes a statement in both the dining room and the boardroom. Masai is available as chair and armchair, upholstered in a range of leather and fabrics. Base options include: four–legs in satin–finished lacquered brushed steel or covered in matching leather or fabric, aluminum trestle base with and without castors, aluminum five–way base with tilting and lift mechanisms, with and without castors. The Masai Collection is GreenGuard certified.
The Clouds Coffee Table Set is a real eye-catcher. It consists of three heavenly cloud-like layers with three different heights to form a complete coffee table. They can also be separated and used as three individual tables. The unusual cloud design and versatility of this table make it an obvious design marvel.
Produced by SIXINCH, the Dual Cut Foam Block by Kitmen Keung, splits a rectangular block into two L-shapes. The simple idea translates to rather incredible functionality. It can work as a chair. Or, a pedestal for computer or tv. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use too.
This lounge chair looks so comfy, doesn’t it?? designed by Gordon Guillaumier for Minotti and was inspiredby classically designed models dating from the 1950s -‘60s, while being based on state-of-the-art technology.
The contemporary Aspen sofa is a result of collaboration between two big names in the design industry, Cassina and Jean Marie Massaud. The Aspen sofas work well together as a long sleek single seating unit, or as individual chaise lounges. Cassina’s Aspen collection includes an end table suspended on a center cylinder that blends into the side of the sofa in a very smooth transition.
BoConcept recently previewed its new line of furniture and accessories. New pieces include multifunctional sofas, modular wall systems, storage coffee tables and a large variety of colorful, pop art inspired accessories. The furnishings and objects work to fit a variety of functions, especially in bedrooms and office spaces.

American designer Kyle Buckner’s recent “Lounge Chair” carved from layered pine curves gracefully from foot to head. Buckner will “design or build just about anything,” however in pieces like this chair he really finds a voice. The stain is red mahogany, the cushions (quite naturally) are leather.
