 Melissa Keyes | Olmsted Falls, Ohio

Knowing what you want is a very important part of how your future turns out. For so long I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do; it seemed I could do anything. Combine that with a little ADHD and I was jumping all over the place with no choice but to try to connect the dots until a picture developed. It is obvious for Melissa Keyes of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, that this was not the case for her.  

“I have always wanted to model since I was young,” says the sweet girl whose main influence is her mother. “I started modeling at a very early age. My mom and my family are my biggest influences.” After answering a few of my questions, it becomes clear how mommy became a huge influence. Growing up, Melissa was “very athletic” and “very much a girly-girl.” She further admits; “I loved the color pink and I loved shopping and getting into ‘mom’s make-up!’”

 

 

 

With an apparent unquestionable love for her family and friends, I speculate as to whether it can be difficult for her to balance personal life and career. “Absolutely not,” deadpans Melissa. “Everyone and everything that's in my life right now is informed about my modeling career.” Not only are they aware but in fact they are her very support system. “They are all willing to make exceptions so that I can one day become of what I always dreaming of doing.” With a family willing to make sacrifices on her behalf, Melissa is poised to take over the world. “I would love to work with Ford Modeling Agency or Elite,” she says of some of her goals. “My friends tell me that I have the strength and the ability to concur my dreams.”

Melissa may have wanted to model since she was a little girl but what is it that separates her from the countless beauties aspiring to become a working model. “Like I said,” she begins, “I started at a very young age. I have the experience of standing in front of the camera for hours also walking up and down runways. I have a brilliant ways of coming up with new ideas, new poses, and new faces.”

Describing her work ethic, this pretty girl is “very energetic, very dependable and responsible,” she says. “…also I am fun to work with.” Models are so often painted as dumb and air headed, I have discovered several times over to not accept this as the norm. “I have an outstanding GPA in school,” Mellissa points out. “I finished this last year o school with a 3.5 GPA.” Nothing like a girl with good brains. 

 

Being in the public eye is an experience unto itself with a few changes that comes to a person’s life. “I feel that more people are interested in me and what I can do. They believe that I will make it far one day.” And far she will go with the right motivation. “Music motivates me to the max,” explains Melissa. “I love to sing and dance so whenever I hear music I know it’s time to get moving.”

 

 

Life cannot be all work and no play. So after completing a project or just a long work week (or two) I like to play as hard as I work. “My favorite venue is skyline music; my favorite place to shop is New York! I would love to party in Miami.” Well HTM is slowly taking over Miami so…. You’ll know where to find us. Occasionally partying is not in the forecast, a person just wants to unwind, I asked Melissa about her choice destination to unwind. “An island,” she tells me, “I love islands, they’re so peaceful.”

To find love and laughter, Melissa is fortunate because she doesn’t have to look far. “My unforgettable moment of love was always with my parents,” she says then tells me about the last time she genuinely laughed “Last night while I was laughing at my older brother running around the house.” And If I’m ever in need of a good laugh I too know where to turn. “I’m really funny,” she informs excitedly and I can cheer anyone up. “I think that guys and girls like most about me is my personality." A Virgo she is, however the only thing she claims that fits her about it is “that the lady is beautiful with dark hair which reminds me of… me!” She further confesses the one thing she can't live without is... "LOVE."

 

 

Melissa admits that guys are intimidated by her sexiness which she says is a “natural sexy” yet she “works out five days a week to reach that extra mile.” But it’s not all about being sexy for Melissa. “Beauty comes from the inside,” she puts forth the precisely %24 Cherokee Native American cutie. “If you don’t have a nice personality you are you are nothing but ugly. Beauty is all natural.” 

When on a date, the worst Melissa could imagine happening is “An ex-boyfriend showing up.” And if I did something to make this pretty girl upset after we’d become so close, “I would love for you to sincerely apologize and I would simply forgive you!” And I know with my weakness for pretty girls she could probably get anything out of me so I ask what the key to a good seduction is. “The power of eye contact,” she answers and I agree, being that eyes are my favorite part of a woman. Ummm… but I still like a nice body.
