Once again heaven taunts me; angels descend from their celestial home taking the form of humans but failing to mask their angelic beauty. My uncontrollable attraction to all things beautiful is in overdrive as I gaze upon these two lovely ladies who; for this ephemeral episode, are my angels taking me through a virtual tour of heaven. On this tour they will, while pretending to be human, guide me through their lives as I ask various questions about their lives as sexy earthly models, giving me a taunting glimpse into heaven: Introducing Carla and Melissa Howe. 

 

 

 “We are from a place in England called ‘Buckinghamshire’ just on the outskirts of London,” the twins divulge their origins. Born Carla Ann and Melissa Howe, these British beauties are up and coming models, actresses and video vixens. “Our career goals are to become household names in America,” they say adding, “Appearing on the covers of the hottest urban and commercial magazine eventually crossing over into television.” And at the fresh age of 19, I believe they have every chance in heaven.

 

Nicknamed the “Howe Twins” because its “our last name and it's easier when people get us mixed up,” the twins describe themselves as “girly, confident and sometimes provocative.” “We love experimenting being that we’re from the fashion capitol of London,” say the girls of their unique style. “To start with, we are twins, and secondly we like to think of ourselves as trendsetters.” The Howe Twins love themselves just the way they are. “We wouldn’t change anything,” they explain, “because we feel the way we look has helped us this far in our careers, although there are thing we would like to enhance [laughs] but its best to work with what you have been blessed with.”

 

 

 These angels tried to appear more human with the addition of tattoos to their otherwise untainted flesh. “We both have tattoos. [Carla] has one on her right hand saying ‘Vixen’ and [Melissa] has one on her right hand saying ‘Star.’ We both got them after our first music video shoot. The significance is one day we want to be vixens and stars in the industry.” But how do the ‘Howe Twins’ feel about the industry they so fearlessly plan to conquer? “We feel it’s very competitive and hard and only the toughest survive so you need to be very thick skinned and able to take rejection and constructive criticism. You can't expect to get a yes straight away but after a 100 no's it only takes one call back.”

Being that the industry is so competitive, would they make a career of it just the same? “We would because using our creative talent through a camera lens is what we enjoy doing the most, wouldn't change it for the world.” What made these ladies feel they were a perfect fit for HTM? “We feel we are right for HTM,” answers the twins, “because it’s diverse and we feel we have a different look that the readers would like as variety is always good.” Yup, variety is indeed the spice if life.

 

 

 What are the Howe Twins like outside of modeling? Carla: “I like going to the movies, going clubbing, meeting up with friends, and building on my craft as a success in the entertainment industry.” Melissa: “I like clubbing, going to networking events, travelling and working out.” “Our favourite restaurant would be Tgis and [favourite] club would be Mansion New York and Club Live in Miami. We always have a lot of fun partying there.”

Of course these women have had their fair share of male admires. “Guys always notice my breasts but usually assume that they are fake because I'm slim,” says Carla, “which I will confirm now that they are 100 percent real, no silicone!” Melissa laughs in agreement. Both are currently single and my mind pictures a fun weekend spent with twin angels; experience amplified. “I feel that we are currently focusing all of our energy on being a success in our careers that we simply don’t have the time,” admits Carla, “I have dated guys recently in the industry and find they become obsessive calling me every five minutes to see where I am. Trust is very important, and I am not one of them girls who always have to be in a relationship to feel secure, I would rather focus on my work and wait for the real deal to come along.” Well here I am Carla! The real deal but I’m way too much to handle. Finally Melissa interjects, “The worst date [I ever had] would be going out for sushi, as it was my first time, [I] didn’t know how the hell to eat the stuff with the chopsticks! So embarrassing.”

 

 

 Sweet and mischievous like angels at play in the Garden of Eden, the Howe twins are worth forgetting the world if only for a 72 hour trip to wherever will end up being a taunting glimpse of heaven.
