Amanda Morra is something of an unknown to most of you. In fact she was to us as well, but then we met her at a party, found out what she does and hey presto (yeah, hey presto) she's here for you to see:
So, time for the lowdown on Miss Morra. She’s a 21-year-old dance-pop singer/songwriter from Canada, who released her first album (the self-titledAmanda Morra) last year. Her latest album that’s in the pipeline sees herworking with the same producer that has overseen some of Nelly Furtado’sprevious successes. Good omens. In her spare time she’s studying at York University doing kinesiology – the science of human movement – and health science. And looking like this:
She’s also a pretty handy dancer. In fact, a very handy dancer. We called her Miss Morra earlier because she actually teaches dance at the Art and Soul Dance Academy in Toronto – when she isn’t learning, or writing songs. So she can move.
