What comes to mind when you think of accountants? Grey suits? Calculators…? Eyeglasses…? How about sexy? Curvaceous…?  What I’m hoping to do is forever alter your perception of accounting. Introducing Sonya Renee.

Everybody knows that HTM embraces heritage and culture like a baby does a pillow and blanket, so it was a surprise when I asked Sonya about hers and she responded “I'm Irish and Native American. I consider myself a Heinz 57.” What the hell does that mean?

A southern girl from Nashville Tennessee, “You can tell this when I speak I have a very strong country accent,” she says, Sonya had been greatly influenced by Mariah Carey at an early age. “She was beautiful and was an amazing singer.”  It’s not hard to see why Sonya would have been so influenced by a recording artist being that she is from the “Music city capital of the world,” as she so eloquently puts it. “You can go out any day of the week and any time to hear live music; furthermore people come from all over to make it in the music industry.”

A mother of a beautiful four year old daughter, but please don’t call her milf because her life is far more serious than that. “I find it very hard at times. Managing modeling, my accounting job, and being a mother can get a little difficult but I love the challenge.” In spite of it all she remains “…very modest and down to earth.” Sonya seems like a sweetheart. Wonder if the whole southern hospitality thing is real. She makes me think that it just might.

When she’s not working or being a mother Sonya likes to go to Vegas and LA to let loose. Atlanta is where she likes to shop because it’s close to home. According to her not much has changed since becoming a model and sexy public figure. “I've become focused on getting things done and understand this is a big world with great diversity and we have to live together happily.” Besides, becoming a model is something that just happens to girls like Sonya. “I was in archery and a photographer came and took group pictures and said I should consider modeling, a few weeks later I enrolled in a modeling school. I've been modeling every since and it has been such an awarding experience for me ;)”

This experience that she speaks of will hopefully take her on a journey where the sky’s the limit. Or maybe not… “I don't wanna limit my opportunities by just naming a few so I would say I'm interested in working with any international and all national labels.”

HTM: What motivates you?

Sonya: Money and the wonderful responses I get from my supporters because with out them none of this would be possible...thank you

HTM: What has changed since becoming a model and public figure?

Sonya: Not much has changed.  I've become focused on getting things done and understand this is a big world with great diversity and we have to live together happily.

HTM: What kind of girl were you growing up?

Sonya: I was very shy and athletic growing up. My parents had me involved in alot of activities like cheerleading, softball, basketball and archery. I guess they figured keeping me busy would keep me outta trouble.

HTM: Name the one thing you would love to see happen in this world.

Sonya: Less violence. Seems like every time you turn on the news it's always bad, I would love to see more positive things happening in the world.

HTM: Name the one thing you can't live without.

Sonya: Hmmm that’s a hard one; my computer or my phone???? My phone!
