At this magazine we place an emphasis on culture, nationality and personal heritage, where does your family hail from? “The Philippines. Unfortunately, I have yet to visit the motherland. I hope to visit next year, though.”

Culture. Hidden Treasures loves culture. What do we do with a person who has called multiple cities in various countries from California to Turkey home? How do we assess them culturally? “I've lived many places because I was a BRAT! A military brat, that is. I'm currently living in Atlanta and I represent ATL!” The best thing about where she lives is, “The people. The town is so small, everyone knows each other and it's like family. Not to mention the HOSPITALITY of the people. I love the south!! People are soooooo nice. Strangers and passer by's take the time to greet you and smile.”

I hope she does make that trip. I believe in the ability knowledge of heritage has to propel a person to a more well rounded and satisfying future. Being a military brat does have its downturns, “I've always wanted to be a model since I was about 10. I've always admired the faces of Teen Magazine. I decided to go to a John Casablanca’s casting call around that age. I received a call-back, but didn't pursue anything because my family had to re-locate due to the military.”

Angie’s military brat upbringing is reflected in her tastes in shopping, dining and partying. “Belgium would have to be my favorite place to party so far since they do not stop until 8:00 in the morning. I love to eat in ATLANTA and I looooooove the shopping in LONDON!”

Usually when I ask what companies they would love to work the answers range from various magazine titles to fashion and film companies. Not ‘Fast Lane’ Angie. “I would love to work with Google and Twitter. I know you're probably talking about modeling companies; but I really would love to work with the two I mentioned. LOL!” Not sure what to think about this but I will ask her about it next go around.

Angie has energy. It’s in her eyes. “I think I'm a bit of a firecracker and kind of just 'out there.' I act crazy in public, I'm not reserved and I'm always sticking out my tongue!” Not sure if I could deal with the public indecency but Angie is sexy enough to forgive her shortcomings. If anything it’s her quirkiness that is so attractive.

What kind of girl were you growing up? “I was a very out-going, outspoken social butterfly as a child. I was the popular kid defending the under-dog. I used to LOVE performing songs and dances to my peers. I was a sweetheart... but if you were to ask my sister about that; she would probably tell you different.” Guess we’re going to have to locate and interrogate.

 Her outspoken nature comes in handy now that Angie is a model. “Since becoming a model/public figure - if I have an opinion on something, I'm able to make an impact/inspire or just get my word out to the masses…. I would love to see everyone at peace.”

As I look at her I can’t picture Angie being anything other than a public point of admiration and longing. “Before I was a model, I was working at an advertising agency as a graphic artist and web designer. My former boss loves me and probably would tell you that, and I quote, "Angie is a HOOT!" Whatever that means. She is from the country! LOL.” 

 If you ever find yourself gazing into those intense eyes you may wonder what treasures lie hidden, “My hidden treasure is that I have a personal relationship with GOD and that I believe in myself. I believe in a vision; I write it down to make it tangible and begin living out my dreams.”
