A Need To B Lush | Tanya Spalliero's Dream

Growing up I’ve lived on both sides of the spectrum. Broke and… well not rich but comfortable, and comfort for me means the world. When your surroundings are pristine and lush, you’re comfortable. We all may not need a life of luxury to actually be comfortable but luxury can make everyone feel comfortable. I am a guy, so I have no business doing a rendering of a salon. However I am a reporter… of sorts. For HTM I seek out hidden treasures for today’s man who keeps his ladies in mind. So tonight… over a glass of brandy, a plate of salmon and rice, Jersey surrounding me and New York never too far, I will talk about a place of comfort and enhancement for your favorite girl: B Lush Salon.

I had the rare opportunity to be available for the salon’s grand opening. One of our featured models Allison Aguilar just so happened to be working the event… I wanted to see her. Also in attendance was HTM loyalist and Marketing Manager; Davin Intsiful. He’d just interviewed the owner who turned out to be a very beautiful lady that I will introduce you to soon enough.

My plan was to stop here on the way to an HTM event at Chris Michael’s Lounge in Woodbridge. When I first drove onto the shopping center lot in Marlboro, a town lush in itself; immediately noticeable is the long line approaching the newly christened establishment. I was impressed. For the opening, Housewives of New Jersey alumni, Teresa Guidice is signing copies of her cook book “Skinny Italian.” This further impresses me. Next but leaving a far greater impression is the amazing plethora of ‘very’ attraction women. Don’t think I’ve seen this many at once… ever.

A Dj played (who turned out to be family) dance music for congregation. This was a celebration. Two very lovely ladies, serving ice cold drinks and food from a small buffet, stood just outside a large tent that presided protectively over cocktail tables. The line curved serpentine-like around this and that alone made me avoid it. I waited until I was eventually introduced to the owner: Tanya Spalliero. Once I saw her I knew she was why I was here. More beautiful than any of the girls I’d seen so far, I knew she understood comfort.  I knew any girl I entrusted to her salon would return; goal achieved: happy. I followed her, circumventing the anaconda-like line to the entrance. The interior was both elite and inviting. Vibrant pink walls, ceiling adorned with lights and a large crystal chandelier added an air of royalty to the place. My girl would feel like a princess.

It has always been a dream of Tanya’s to open her own salon; it’s a business she has been in for 11 years. “I wouldn’t change anything at this point,” she says. “I feel like everything is bound for success at the end of this journey.” In order to make this dream a reality some sacrifices were and are necessary. “One of the biggest sacrifices is spending time with my one year old son. He is sick right now with an outfit picked for the [salon’s] grand opening. I’m sad he can’t be a part of this.” Her intent is to raise the bar for clients that go to other salons with topnotch stylist to satisfy any preference. She wants her clients to feel ‘exclusive.’

“I am honored and feel blessed that I have a great company representing and displaying my talents for anyone who loves their hair,” says the gorgeous Spanish and Puerto Rican salon owner of Hidden Treasures Magazine. There have been trials and tribulations opening B Lush Salon and the pride in the finished product is manifest and inspiring. It is stories like these that culminate into a society where luxury can be appreciated alongside hard work and dedication. Hold on to your dreams. Everyone has a right to be comfortable.

Love is indeed a funny thing.  Its pure energy; energy with a purpose; a purpose I fall victim to time and time again; a true romantic some say. When you mix love and circumstance, the possibilities are endless. Heroes are born, villains are created (so often out of former good guys,) obsessions develop; friendships are either fortified or dissolved. But that’s the drama of love and romance. I had thought myself the 'last of the true romantics;' you know the sensitive, intellectual bad boy type. Then came along Sandra “the drama queen” as her friends has affectionately dubbed her, a true romantic who accepts all that comes with… love.

Gifts

Gifts are the best medium to express all the feelings. These can be presented to anyone without occasions also. Gifts have very vast meanings embedded within them that only the recipient and the sender can understand. By the help of small gifts, all the feelings and emotions such as care, love, forgiveness, kindness, gratitude etc can be expressed in a simple way. Varieties of gifts are available in the market but while purchasing these gifts, the sex, interests, age, personality of the individual and the relation with that person to whom it should be presented must be kept in the mind. Gifts does not requires any words, it itself contain huge meanings that can be easily expressed with them.

Culture

All across America, a familiar type of landscape can be found: empty buildings, decaying storefronts and deserted streets. They’re not ghost towns, but rather the remnants of a different time. Main streets which were once booming centers of commerce are now often populated with the imagined ghosts of a time when super-stores and corporate chains were still on the far horizon.
